General rules
As rest is essential for the recovery of patients, we kindly ask you to respect the visiting hours and the measures below.
Patients can receive visitors every day between 2pm and 7.30pm. During these visiting hours, two visitors per day are allowed to visit at the same time.
Some wards have different visiting hours:
- In the intensive care unit: visits only possible from 15pm to 15.45pm and 19pm to 19.45pm.
- In the maternity ward: the partner, brother(s) and/or sister(s) may visit all day without time restriction. Other visitors are only allowed from 4pm to 7.30pm.
- In the psychiatric ward (PAAZ): visits are only possible from 6pm to 8pm. During weekends (and holidays) from 2pm to 8pm.
- In the palliative care departement: this service does not apply any restriction or fixed visiting hours. Visiting times are fixed together in agreement with the care team on the ward.
- In the paediatric ward: parents of hospitalised children in paediatrics can visit without time constraints.
Non-hospitalised patients
One companion per patient is allowed on consultations. A similar arrangement is used for the emergency department and day hospital.
Points of interest when you come to the hospital
Disinfect your hands when entering and leaving the hospital and before and after visiting in the patient room.
If you are ill or have symptoms (e.g. fever, cough,...), we ask you to delay your visit.
The mouth mask is no longer mandatory in hospitals.
