From 10/3: modification of radiology supplements.

Starting Sunday, March 10th, a supplement will be charged for both the execution of MRI examinations and ultrasounds. This supplement already applied to MRI examinations, and the rate for these supplements is being adjusted.

At AZ Jan Portaels, supplements are charged for MRI examinations and ultrasounds, in addition to the RIZIV rates. This amount must be paid by the patient.

Starting from February 19: access to Vaartstraat restored

Starting from Monday, February 19, the entrance to Vaartstraat is accessible again for patients with appointments in the departments of psychiatry, dentistry, stomatology, and sexology. You can ring the bell at the reception, after which you can enter the entrance.

Change in visiting arrangements on 25 May 2022

As of Wednesday, 25 May 2022, we are once again changing our visiting arrangements and allowing more visitors in. However, the safety of our hospital clients, visitors and staff remains paramount.

Participation in "Palliative Care" VIKZ measurement

As of this week, our patients who have been admitted for palliative care, at the "De Cirkel" Nursing Unit or are followed up by the Palliative Support Team on the geriatrics or medicine nursing wards, are surveyed about the quality of their care.
