ust as Vilvoorde has become a home for a wide variety of people, so we at Jan Portaels General Hospital want to work harder than ever to offer an inclusive and culturally sensitive care service to all our hospital clients in the region, without distinction on any grounds whatsoever.
This year, an inter-cultural mediator successfully started working in our hospital to provide our care clients with a different language, culture or ethnic background with extra attention and guidance in their care needs.
As a hospital, we remain committed to learning how to deal with diversity, language and socio-cultural barriers and continue to ensure that our care is accessible to all and of equally high quality.
